The Independent Mortgage Brokers Association of Ontario (IMBA) is dedicated to providing mortgage professionals who have met the highest industry standards in Ontario for experience, education, ethics and examination. IMBA has created the Certified Professional Mortgage Agent (CPMA) and Certified Professional Mortgage Broker (CPMB) designations to raise the standards of professionalism within the mortgage brokerage industry in the Province of Ontario.
IMBA conveys two professional designations:

Qualifications
Registered Mortgage Broker with FSCO, for a minimum of 5 years. Successfully completed Ontario's mortgage broker educational program. 3 letters of reference from industry professionals. Commitment to education, based on a point scale. Successful completion of the following Seneca College workshops.
